TT: After Things Changed pt.1

   She stood outside, the wind swaying her light blonde hair, wondering and thinking. Thinking about what Beast Boy had said, what he meant


   I remember... She thought to herself. I... remember...?


   All the memories came flowing back, along with and sharp pain in her brain following a crack. There was rock in her brain, and that was what kept her from remembering. But her mind had moved the rock, and now she was trully Terra.


   "Beast Boy!" She yelled in front of her school once she found those lost memories. "Oh Beast Boy, no no no... what have I done?"


   She widened her eyes and looked around, her friends giggling and laughing. Terra flushed with embarrasment.


   "Come on" one of her friends said. "Let's get to class, the bell wrung."


   "No... Listen, there's something I got to do... Can you cover for me in Trig?" Terra said looking around at the city that she now remembered was hers -- the city she saved


   "Uh, yeah sure." Her friend said, rolling her eyes and leaving.

   And so, Terra left her school, excitement flushing her face. She ran through the streets, oddly saying 'hi' to everyone she passed. She suddenly saw the Titans Tower in the distance, the sun right behind it, casting large glittering sparkles through its windows.


   She burst out laughing once she reached the entrance. Her happiness suddenly all blew away like her hair in the wind.


   Will they accept me...? She thought. After all the things I've done?


   She remembered the look on Beast Boy's face when she left. A look of dreaded pain. And at that moment, she knew she had punched him right in the gut. She had to make it up to him.


   Nervously -- but confidently -- Terra knocked, clenching her teeth nervously. Who would open the door? Would they shut it right in her face?


   "Oh hello there I believe you have ---"


   The door opened to reveal Starfire, frozen, not knowing what to do.


   "Hello there, school friend of Beast Boy's." She said smiling. Terra raised one eyebrow and chuckled.


   "Star! It's me, Terra!" She yelled, waving a hand in front of her. Immediatly Starfire flew in the air and squeeled with joy, hugging Terra tightly like the last two times.


   "Robin! Cyborg! You must come here at once! Terra is here, the true Terra!" Starfire pulled her arm, pulling her inside the Titan's Tower. It was just as she remembered.


   Robin and Cyborg came begind Starfire. Robin crossed his arms and shook his head, smiling. "It's really you... isn't it."


   "It's really you girl!" Cyborg chuckled, lifting Terra up on his shoulders and carrying her to the couch where Raven sat.


   Raven looked up from her book once, to see Terra's face smiling unsurely at her. Surprisingly, Raven didn't glare. She smiled lightly, nodded, and went back to her book.


   Once everyone settled down, Terra looked around the main room, something was missing... "Hey guys, wheres Beast Boy?"


   Suddenly, all the cheering and music stopped. Everyone looked at Terra slightly and slowly looked away.


   "I think it's better if he doesn't see you... you hurt him bad Terra. You've hurt him before, but this time it's really left a dent. To see you come back from the dead, but to think it wasn't real? It's happy-sad all over again." Robin said fixing his cape. Terra looks to Starfire for hope.


   "Oh! I cannot tell a lie to my refreshed friend!" Starfire said flying around Terra. "He is in his room." Terra nods, and walks in the hallway, remembering where his room is.


   Terra hesitates this time before knocking. What if Robin was right? What if she would hurt him again. Instead, Terra leans her head against his room door, whimpering, with unexpected tears starting to flow down her cheeks.


   From inside the room, Beast Boy hears her light whimpers. "Star?" He asks. Terra stops and smiles, glad to hear his voice again. With a sigh, she starts to talk.


   "Beast Boy... I'm so sorry about everything All the things I've done to you... running away, working with Slade... dying..." Terra tells him everything on purpose so that Beast Boy knows it's trully her. A long silence comes.


   Terra's head is still leaning on the door when Beast Boy opens it. Not ready for this, she looses her balance and falls straight into his arms.


   "Beast Boy!" Terra says loudly now. "Please tell me you'll forgive me! I need to hear you say it!" Terra looks up at his face, and finds that he isn't smiling. He isn't crying, or angry. He remains emotionless. "Please... please BB." She whimpers into his chest.
